Speech Pathology

Speech Pathologists support the development of speech, language, literacy, and social-emotional skills.

Speech Pathologists at Adelaide Child Psychology can help children with speech, language, communication, literacy development, and social-emotional learning. Depending on the particular area to be addressed, a range of evidence-based treatment modalities may be drawn upon. Whilst these may differ, they will always be child-focussed, based on the child’s strengths, and respect the child’s unique identity and communication style. All our clinicians, including Speech Pathologists and Psychologists, practice in line with neurodiversity affirming principles. Parents/caregivers can expect to be provided with strategies to support their child to develop their skills. We do not currently offer mealtime/feeding support.

If you have any questions about the Speech Pathology services offered, or would like to make an appointment for your child to see a Speech Pathologist, please contact reception on 8327 6337 or email admin@adelaidechildpsych.com.au
